Do you want to make the most of outdoor living? In that case, installing an outdoor lift will provide easy and comfortable access to your garden. The Cibes outdoor lift will resist to almost any weather conditions and because the lift is installed on the outside of your home, you do not need to worry about sacrificing any of your indoor space.

Because all elements are ready-made, your lift is much faster and easier to install than a conventional elevator.
Standard outdoor equipment
The outdoor lift is available in two wheelchair-friendly sizes: 40 x 58″ and 44 x 58″. Your lift includes the following equipment to ensure that it is weather resistant:
- Slanted outdoor roof to protect the lift from rain and snow
- Door canopies in plexiglas or steel
- Rust proof AL5 aluminum doors
- Sealed, weather resistant call buttons
- Sealed glazed shaft panels
- Bottom frame with anti corrosive coating
- Electrical compartment with flooding protection
Your outdoor elevator is designed for a temperature range of approximately 14° to 86°F. For more extreme climates, we offer additional options for temperature control, such as AC ready lifts and heating solutions.
Lift car characteristics
The lift car controls are operated with hold to run operation. You simply maintain pressure on the floor button to travel and release pressure to stop.
Our outdoor lifts have a rated load of 880 lbs (4-5 passengers) and the lift speed is limited to 30fpm, in accordance with regulations.
However, the limited speed also offers advantages. Whereas conventional elevators need big and bulky shaft structures to absorb the forces generated by high speed, the Cibes outdoor lift just needs a prefabricated, space-saving ready-made shaft in steel or glazed panels.

Slanted roof
The slanted outdoor roof can be configured to slope in 3 different directions to lead the rain and snow away from the building.
Plexiglas canopy
The elegant door canopy in plexiglas protects all exposed lift doors from light rain and snow, perfect for warm to temperate climates.
Steel canopy
The sturdy door canopy in steel protects all exposed lift doors from heavy rain and snow, which is ideal for cold and rough climates.
Call buttons
To resist in humid conditions, the push button is in stainless steel and has a class IP55 seal. The faceplate in anodized aluminum.
Rust proof aluminum doors
The strong and light-weight AL5 aluminum door is rust proof and the standard door model for our outdoor lifts.
Immaculate finish
No rivets are visible on the inside the shaft. The corner profile includes a cover to hide all rivets, for an immaculate finish.
Sealed glass panels
The glazed panels of the lift shaft are equipped with a rubber seal to prevent water infiltration and reduce condensation.

High quality outdoor elevator
To ensure that your lift will operate smoothly regardless of weather conditions, our outdoor elevators are built to withstand the harsh Scandinavian climate, but also sunny and hot weather. In fact, the screw-driven system of our lifts is less sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity than most other drive systems, which is ideal for outdoor conditions.
For extremely hot and cold climates we also offer a range of different solutions. We have done our best to think about everything, but if you need a special solution, just talk to your local dealer and we will do our best to help out.
Weather resistant elevators
Snow, rain or scorching heat – for our lifts there is no bad weather! If you live in a place with challenging weather conditions, just contact us and we will talk you through your options.
Wheelchair accessible
The platform sizes of this lift model are big enough to fit most wheelchairs. However, we recommend you to select the biggest 44 x 58″ size, if your lift doors are placed at a 90° angle, as it will make it easier to turn the wheelchair at exit.
To be on the safe side, always measure your wheelchair before investing in a lift.
- Measure your wheelchair w x d (including wheels and footrest).
- Try to estimate the minimum door width you need.
- Also make sure that you have enough space on the landings to enter and exit.

Installation
In most cases, the outdoor lift is installed against the exterior wall. Although it is possible to install the lift in a masonry shaft there is no need. Our lifts come with a ready-made shaft.
