The simple mechanics of a screw-driven elevator make it extremely reliable and robust. Simply put, the platform of the elevator is attached to a drive nut moving up and down the lifting screw, powered by an electric motor.
More than 90% of the elevator is made of recyclable materials and all of the lighting uses durable LED technology. In addition, screw-driven lifts have a lifetime of about 25 years that can be extended with various upgrades.
Screw-driven elevators need maintenance less often than elevators with most other drive systems. Our lifts are also equipped with an auto lubrication system to ensure that the lifting screw is well oiled at all times.
The Cibes A4000 platform elevator is made in our factory in Sweden. We make use of more than 75 years of engineering and design experience, to offer you the high-quality lift solutions and services that you deserve.

Is an elevator a solution to futureproof my home?

How many people can fit into the home elevator?
Residential elevators have an average lift capacity of 1,000 pounds, more than enough for four people. The size of the elevator car, however, usually limits the elevator to the number of people it will hold. A typical home elevator car size is 15 square feet.
How much space will I need for a home elevator?
Even small residential elevators take up several square feet of your home’s living space. Typically, the minimum space required for a residential elevator is 20 square feet. Depending on your home’s floor plan, you may be able to install the elevator and its shaft in a large closet.
When calculating your elevator space requirement, you need to consider the elevator’s height and the size of the shaft pit, which is usually six to eight inches deep. If a machine room is required, the size of the room should be included in the minimum space necessary for the residential elevator.
